Avaliação do Currículo do Curso de Ciências Biológicas da UFC: em busca da melhoria da formação de professores de biologia

RESUMO: O objetivo geral deste capítulo é analisar a avaliação curricular do referido curso, na perspectiva dos atores sociais do mesmo (discentes e a coordenação pedagógica). Nossa investigação insere-se em uma abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa, na qual optamos como metodologia de embasamento o Estudo de Caso, no qual utilizamos como ferramentas de pesquisa a análise de documentos, questionários e entrevista semi-estruturada. Entrevistamos um docente representante da coordenação do curso, buscando conhecer como se deu o processo de construção do Projeto Político Pedagógico (PPP) do referido curso. Foi relevante entrevistar o coordenador, pois ele foi o representante do curso que estava ligado à coordenação na época da mudança entre o novo PPP e o antigo documento. Chamaremos o representante de Mateus. Seu relato nos permitiu compreender como foi o processo de formulação do novo PPP, bem como os diversos períodos de evolução e de transição entre as referidas organizações curriculares da modalidade Licenciatura. Isso nos permitiu compreender o processo de forma global e as relações/lutas de poder entre os grupos que apoiaram/criticavam o novo PPP.
ABSTRACT: The
aim of this chapter is to analyze the curriculum evaluation of that
course from the perspective of social actors in it (and coordinating
education students). Our
investigation is part of a qualitative research approach, in which we
choose as a method of grounding the Case Study, in which we used as
research tools to document analysis, questionnaires and semi-structured
interview. We
interviewed a representative of the faculty course coordinator, seeking
to know how was the process of building the Political Pedagogical
Project (PPP) of that course. It
was important to interview the coordinator, because he was the
representative of the course that was linked to the coordination at the
time of the change between the new and the old PPP document. We call the representative of Matthew. Your
report has allowed us to understand how was the process of formulating
the new PPP, as well as the various stages of evolution and transition
between the organizations of the sport Degree curriculum. This
allowed us to understand the process overall and the relations / power
struggles between groups that supported / criticized the new PPP.
